Leave, and take everything.
How to delete your Stree Sense account and the record it holds, from inside the app or without it. Stree Sense is made by The Stree Co. Leaving is yours to do at any time, and it is final.
In the app
The fastest way, and entirely in your hands.
- Open the Her tab, then open Your account.
- Choose “Leave, and take everything”. Nothing is deleted first: the app offers you your record to take with you, your file as one page for a doctor, and the whole journal, every word.
- Choose “Then delete everything”, and confirm. Your account and your entire record are deleted from our systems immediately.
Without the app
You do not need to reinstall anything. Write to us through the contact form with the subject “data request”, or email hello@thestree.co from the address on your account, and ask us to delete it. We action deletion requests within thirty days.
What is deleted
Everything stored under your account: your profile and your onboarding answers, your check-ins, taps, and symptoms, your period, medication, and doctor-visit entries, your diary, the milestones and readings the app has shown you, the reports you filed including the original documents, and your conversations with the companion. There is no undo, because nothing of yours stays behind to undo from.
What was never here
Your body’s data from your watch and phone, meaning sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, breathing, blood oxygen, steps, workouts, menstrual flow, and wrist or skin temperature, is read on your device and never uploaded. There is nothing of it on our systems to delete. It stays on your phone, under your control.
How long it takes
Deletion is immediate in our live database. Our hosting provider keeps its own daily backups for up to seven days, so a deleted record can persist in those backups for up to a week before ageing out. Nobody at C3E Venture reads those backups. A request sent by email instead is actioned within thirty days.
